Recent Events and Group Highlights
Pride Month
We celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Women's right to vote with a presentation by Dianna Wynne, President of Wake County Women's League of Voters. She provided education about the women's suffrage movement specifically in Austin, TX and Raleigh, NC.
Pronouns in Email Signatures
Making and breaking habits was a top topic in 2020. AWG leadership tapped certain members to help develop the material and discussion points used at the session. Participants were broken into small groups to identify a habit they can work on and received peer advice and encouragement to achieve it.
Virtual Pride Parade
Laura Broderick, Abrigo CMO, and Ashley Womack, Abrigo CFO, presented the basics of financial terms – what they mean, why they matter, and how they are used. They discussed key SaaS software financial metrics to better comprehend the financial results of Abrigo.
