Chip Poncy Announced as BUG Keynote Speaker

Banker’s Toolbox is pleased to announce the keynote speaker for the 13th Annual User Group Conference (BUG). Chip Poncy is the President and Co-Founder of the Financial Integrity Network and a Senior Advisor for the Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ Center on Sanctions and Illicit Finance (CSIF).

Poncy was one of the key architects at the US Treasury that drafted the original proposals for FinCEN’s “Customer Due Diligence Requirements for Financial Institutions” – also known as the new beneficial ownership rule. You may remember him from the 60 Minutes episode, Anyonymous Inc., that aired last January. 

Chip Poncy will kick off the Banker’s Toolbox User Group Conference for 2017 by delving into an industry hot topics, beneficial ownership and terrorist financing. Poncy’s keynote address is something that Banker’s Toolbox users will not want to miss at BUG! Click here to read his full bio.

In case you haven’t heard, BUG is a 2.5 day training held in Austin, Texas that is geared toward Banker’s Toolbox customers. Attendees will have the chance to interact with and hear from BSA and law enforcement experts, Banker’s Toolbox product specialists and other BAM/BAM+ users from across the country.
