Our core values are the guiding principles and fundamental beliefs that help us work together as a team. From newly hired to tenured employees, we abide by these values as we strive toward a common goal.
Company Values
More than words on a page. Values are the framework for how we treat each other, our customers, and our work.
The Heart & SOUL of Abrigo
We sum up our values in one phrase: Heart and SOUL. The "heart" represents our love for others, and SOUL is an acronym for four fundamental values that we expect everyone to demonstrate. This is our DNA, and it is woven into the fabric of the company. It’s how we measure our success in everything that we do.
Heart & SOUL impacts both our customers and our employees. It makes us extraordinary. The Abrigo core values are the secret sauce that makes us a great company.

Love for Others
Stuart Zeller, Integration Engineering
"Stuart is the heart and soul of the support team. The kindness and patience that he demonstrates in the most difficult moments of the job, creates a sense of admiration for those around him. He gives all of him, and always gives his best. Stuart is constantly one of the first people to volunteer for challenging support cases, and never shies away from assisting a person regardless of how complex the task is. He can often times be found working longer hours just so he can assist yet another team member or customer. Stuart is always looking to serve others before wanting to be served, and great example of how to help others win! Comment from one of the dozens of perfect surveys that came in for Stuart this past month: Stuart is WONDERFUL!!! He is always incredibly helpful. He went above and beyond, even showed me where an additional field was, I didn't think to ask or know to ask about. But it was something I needed."

Josh Wiegand, Product and Technology
"I would like to take a moment to recognize Joshua for his exceptional leadership and attention to detail. His impact reverberates across departments, and his dedication is truly admirable and rare. Joshua's execution to accomplish objectives is akin to a well-tuned watch's caliber, never wavering or delinquent. It is an honor to work alongside such a leader who consistently inspires and delivers results. I am proud and grateful to have Joshua as a colleague."
Own it
Daniel Viramontes, Implementation Engineering
"Daniel joined the implementation engineering team in the middle of several large, complex, escalated projects - including First Merchant's migration. He hit the ground running and was able to resolve critical, complex issues through cross collaboration and his understanding of our systems. Daniel remains steadfastly pleasant in high stress situations and always makes decisions which are best for the customer. While he exemplifies all of our core values, his recent work shows his ability to Own It through to the fix!"
Uncommon Grit
Kathryn York, Software Engineering
"On the Equipo Taco team in the FinCrime department, Kathryn is responsible for Quality Assurance work for what developers finish. She clarifies Acceptance Criteria with the Engineering Manager and Product Manager every time something does not feel right to her. She asks questions in the design, delivery, and testing phases of product development. She has a critical eye for bugs, styles, and features. The amazing part is that Kathryn has managed to keep a positive attitude and give each Jira ticket the time it deserves during testing, despite being the only QA on this team. The hiring freeze prevented backfilling a QA role on the Equipo Taco team, but even that did not bring Kathryn down. She has been clarifying any confusing requirements or test results with the Engineering Manager even though she is under the high pressure of the 6.5 release deadlines. There is barely enough time to get through all the work she must do because she is working with 6 full-time engineers. She has been able to deliver what would normally be the job of two SETs. It truly is uncommon grit. Kathryn was also required to work for another development team, to help test their work, and she was able to help where she could. She kept the Equipo Taco team informed about when she needed our help. She took the time to recognize others for their hard work. During retrospectives and stand-up meetings, she kept the team accountable for delivering code that she needed to complete her testing efforts. This had an impact on the team by reminding us to respect her time and help meet our own deadlines. She had to balance delivering on her commitments from the QA team needs vs the Equipo Taco team needs and the number of bugs she finds is fantastic! She has brought a big win in the BAM+ Acceleration project where we had to deliver 2 big workflows to customers. BAM+ Branch and CTR+ Branch rewrites. She is keeping the quality bar high against all odds."

Tiare Dugger, Customer Operations
"Tiare was the first person at Abrigo to earn her AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. She was a trailblazer for the rest of our team by taking the AWS test first. By taking it, she inspired the rest of our team and showed us that it could be done. Tiare was relentless on her learning journey as we migrate to the cloud. She set the tone for the rest of our team"
Innovation
Tiffany Dai, Information Technology Risk
"I enthusiastically nominate Tiffany for the Powerhouse Performer Award in recognition of her exceptional contributions as the creator of the annual security awareness training. Her remarkable talents in writing, directing, and filming have resulted in informative and creatively engaging content that captivates and educates audiences. Tiffany's ability to seamlessly blend complex information with fun examples and snarky content sets her apart. Her dedication to delivering high-quality, multifaceted content makes her a deserving candidate for this award. Tiffany's work is an inspiring example of a true powerhouse performer."
Stop, Drop & Roll
Charley Hibbard, Infrastructure Operations
“Charley is continuously focusing on improving processes and experiences for our customers, always up for a challenge, and does not back down when things become difficult - rather, he embraces difficulty and sees things through to the very end. He is a fantastic go-to person for questions, and always does his best to teach others. Charley has been pivotal in not only resolving issues in a timely manner, but doing so while ensuring our efforts to migrate to the Cloud are seamless and maintaining the data center and day-to-day operations. He never hesitates when asked to help with something, and fully embraces all of Abrigo's core values, and never hesitates stop, drop, and roll to resolve issues and provide for an unparalleled customer experience.”
"We’ve had a few issues this quarter and no matter what Charley is one of the very first, if not the first person on the call to resolve it. His team is great at working with others to identify exactly what's happening and move towards a resolution quickly."

Loving others at Abrigo and beyond.
Abrigo is passionate about "Love for Others," and that means reaching out beyond our walls. We are committed to supporting organizations that are important to our employees. When we support our communities and elevate those who need it most, we become better ourselves. We are all at our best when we do good for those around us. That's the "heart" in Heart & SOUL.
Giving
Abrigo is proud to have a charitable match program that allows employees to double their impact on causes and non-profits important to them. Not only does Abrigo have a 1:1 dollar match for contributions given, we also have a "Dollars for Doers" program where volunteer hours turn into charitable gifts for that organization.
Volunteerism
We are more than a company—we are part of a community. That means we look for ways to have a positive impact. We offer paid volunteer days so that our people can get involved in initiatives that are important to them. Every year, we set aside dedicated time for volunteering.
