Karim Lounes

Karim is a Virginia-based Senior UX Designer with over 20 years of experience and a strong foundation in UX design principles. He has led and contributed to small, mid-sized, and large-scale projects, consistently focusing on delivering intuitive, user-centered solutions. He’s especially enjoyed turning complex problems into simple, beautiful, and intuitive designs.

At Abrigo, where he has spent nearly five years, Karim partners with clients and cross-functional teams to enhance lending and credit products, always keeping the user at the center. He believes great products are built collaboratively—it takes a village—and throughout his career, he has valued working closely across teams to achieve successful outcomes.

Karim is passionate about staying ahead of the curve and is constantly seeking new ways to learn and grow through real-world experiences in today’s AI-driven evolution.

Outside of work, he enjoys the outdoors, scuba diving, and spending time with his three kids, two of whom are in college.
