Sydney Sorsby

Sydney Sorsby is a Commercial Product Manager at Stellar Bank, where she leads the strategy, optimization, and execution of commercial lending systems and processes and serves as the primary liaison to Abrigo. She has driven high‑impact, cross‑functional initiatives that modernize loan origination, align credit policy with technology, and improve scalability, risk management, and operational efficiency across the bank. Sydney has spearheaded enterprise system optimization initiatives, directed comprehensive training programs, and overseen significant improvements in reporting. She also manages a team responsible for the seamless execution of day‑to‑day operations, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and alignment across stakeholders. Her background as a former Commercial Lender and Credit Analyst enables her to bring a frontline perspective to product and process innovation, ensuring solutions deliver real business impact. Beyond her role at the bank, Sydney serves on the Rising Star Committees for both the Greater Houston Partnership and the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce. Her achievements have been acknowledged through the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s Women in the Fast Lane STEAM Role Model honor, as well as Stellar Bank’s Outstanding Service and Contribution Award. When she’s not working or serving on committees, Sydney enjoys spending time with her husband at their home in Galveston and offshore fishing.
