SVP, Head of Credit Administration

Brandon began his banking career working in corporate banking which included consumer, mortgage and commercial underwriting for the largest bank chartered in the state of Alabama. With over 19 years of banking experience, Brandon is currently the SVP, Head of Credit Administration at Southern States Bank. He has written commercial and consumer loan policies tailored to the credit culture of the bank, including the implementation and buildout of the Bank’s LOS process.
Brandon has helped grow his current bank’s total assets from $200mm to $2.89 within 9 years while maintaining high asset quality, through organic growth and M&A. He is highly proficient in process management and technology efficiencies as it relates to credit risk management. Brandon has been very successful in translating the corporate banking environment to a community bank, Brandon has a strong belief in taking core corporate processes and applying them to a community culture while remaining customer and community focused.
Brandon has a bachelor’s degree in Business Communication from the University of North Alabama and completed the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
