Chief Lending Officer

Caleb Hopkins is a Loan Production Officer for Dakota Mac out of Yankton, SD. Caleb worked for a community bank in west central Iowa for the past twelve years growing a $15 million portfolio into a $32 million portfolio. He was instrumental in implementing a successful secondary market program for Ag loans that helped the bank be more competitive in Ag lending, as well as profitable.

Caleb received his bachelor degree from Iowa State University in Agricultural Business in 2011 and is a Graduate of Graduate School of Banking Madison, WI in 2018. He is currently on American Bankers Ag and Rural Bankers Committee. He has spoken at multiple National Agricultural Lending Conferences. He currently lives in Halbur, Iowa with his wife and three children.
