John Brichetto

CEO/President

John Brichetto is Chief Executive Officer & President of Century Bank, a financial services firm with assets of $1.3 billion and operations throughout New Mexico and Texas. The bank is a leader in banking and financial services for consumers, small business, commercial banking, construction, SBA, wealth and trust services, private banking and asset management.  Century Bank is headquartered in Santa Fe, NM, has been in operation since 1887 and is the oldest chartered bank in New Mexico.

Mr. Brichetto was appointed CEO on February 1, 2025, and is a member of the Bank and Holding Company Boards. He joined Century Bank in August of 2023 as Chief Banking Officer and Chief Strategy Officer, six months later, he was named President.

His career spans 39+ years in the financial services industry with leadership roles with a large, multibillion dollar Dallas bank, the Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, the Dallas Cowboys, Fidelity Investments, and has consulted several large Wall Street firms on credit, underwriting and compliance.

He is a graduate of the distinguished Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX.  Mr. Brichetto is an avid golfer, hunter and outdoorsman. He is married to his beautiful wife, Maureen, and they have four children and twelve grandchildren.
