Austin, TX – Emily Larkin, Abrigo’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), was named to The Financial Technology Report’s Top 25 Women Leaders in Financial Technology of 2020. Each woman named to the list was selected for demonstrating an expert ability to adapt to changing markets, strengthen company procedures, and pilot new initiatives.
Larkin has been a champion of information security and safety, leading Abrigo’s information security department since the company’s inception in January 2019. Prior to that, she was with one of its heritage companies, Sageworks, for five years. She currently leads a team that oversees corporate information security, business continuity/disaster recovery, and technology-related audit and compliance initiatives. Under her leadership and guidance, her team successfully transitioned Abrigo to a fully remote and secure workforce in a matter of days as shelter-in-place orders were handed down across the country in March 2020. Larkin was named Chief Information Security Officer of the Year by NC Tech in 2019.
