Kurt Alfred is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Brenham National Bank in Brenham, Texas. With a strong background in banking and financial management, Kurt is responsible for overseeing the bank’s budgeting, financial reporting, asset-liability management, bond portfolio management, physical security, and facility operations.
Kurt earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, followed by a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at San Antonio. He began his career with the Texas Department of Banking as a State Bank Examiner, where he helped regulate the safety and soundness of financial institutions across the Houston region. In 2013, Kurt joined Brenham National Bank, initially assuming a combined role in Operations and Finance before transitioning to CFO in 2017.
