Our core values are the guiding principles and fundamental beliefs that help us work together as a team. From newly hired to tenured employees, we abide by these values as we strive toward a common goal.
Company Values
More than words on a page. Values are the framework for how we treat each other, our customers, and our work.
The Heart & SOUL of Abrigo
We sum up our values in one phrase: Heart and SOUL. The "heart" represents our love for others, and SOUL is an acronym for four fundamental values that we expect everyone to demonstrate. This is our DNA, and it is woven into the fabric of the company. It’s how we measure our success in everything that we do.
Heart & SOUL impacts both our customers and our employees. It makes us extraordinary. The Abrigo core values are the secret sauce that makes us a great company.

Annual Powerhouse Award Winners
Love for Others
Megan Castranio: Manager, IT Controls
“Megan embodies the Love for Others core value. No matter how big or small the project is, Megan is always there to help and provide her expertise and thought leadership. One of the biggest ways she shows Love for Others is through her respect for everyone’s time. She coordinates cross-departmental audit requests, risk finding follow up, and deep dive projects and every single time she hosts a meeting, she comes prepared. She always has slides or an excel sheet ready to go to guide the conversation, link relevant resources, and provide action item deadlines.”
Speed to Results
Cory Okular: Director, Deal Desk
“With all the fast-moving deals during any end-of-month close, it is always significant to know who can help get the job done – no matter the challenge. This award goes to Cory Okular for consistently showing up with urgency, creativity, and full ownership. Whether it’s finding answers in record time, troubleshooting complex client needs, or simply being the steady hand that helps us build creative terms to get deals over the finish line, Cory is the teammate you want in your corner. His ability to think fast, act faster, and never let a challenge go unresolved has made a measurable impact on the success of the FinCrime Sales Team. Thank you for being a true partner in every sense of the word."
Own it
Emily Davidson-Toman: Senior Customer Due Diligence Analyst
“In between serving our customers directly, Emily proactively reaches out to our internal teams to learn more about product enhancements to areas she knows our customers are most interested (Data Security, AI usage, etc). Emily recently represented Abrigo's Security Operations team by leading calls with Capital One and NFCU focused on providing evidence and fielding due diligence questions as part of recent customer-initiated audits of Abrigo's compliance with best practices and FFIEC regulations. Emily communicated our controls so well that both customers had minimal to no follow ups of significance following the audits. Emily is also a key player in support of Abrigo's sales process, answering Information Security questions related to RFPs which have 50+ questions each. Those that are fortunate enough to work closely with Emily know firsthand how she always "Owns It!"
Uncommon Grit
Tiare Dugger: Manager, Technical Support Engineering
“Tiare is a great example of leading with Uncommon Grit. She works incredibly hard to make sure our customers and her own team are fully tended to. She is always making sure that we have everything we need to keep our heads above water while also making sure our customer’s needs are prioritized. It takes Uncommon Grit to be a great leader, and she lives it each week.”
Learn & Grow
MaryRae Goad: Client Success Manager
“MaryRae has consistently gone above and beyond to support my growth. She takes time every day to walk me through her casework, providing valuable insights and offering guidance on how she approaches challenges. She has graciously joined calls with me to clarify any questions I have and has proactively found opportunities for me to engage with cases, ensuring I am constantly learning. MaryRae’s commitment to fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment has made a profound impact on my experience at Abrigo, and I believe she is highly deserving of this recognition.”
Innovation
Kurt Schneckenburger: Principal Software Engineer
“Kurt's work in the ALM pillar has not only driven significant advancements but is also setting a new standard for excellence and creativity. Kurt has an exceptional ability to identify challenges and develop forward-thinking solutions that have a tangible positive impact on our team. He has a unique blend of vision, technical expertise, and strategic execution, leading to measurable outcomes such as efficiency improvement, cost savings, and product advancements. Kurt's leadership and dedication to progress is a true asset for Abrigo. His contributions exemplify the very spirit of innovation, and I am confident that his impact will continue to resonate for years to come.”
Nominator Dominator
Aruna Guneratne: Manager, Financial Investigations Unit
“Aruna has consistently recognized his teammates throughout the year with over a dozen nominations throughout 2025! His nominations showcase how these colleagues embody each Abrigo Core Value. It is evident that Aruna makes it a personal goal each quarter to celebrate the Love for Others, Speed to Results, Own It, Uncommon Grit, Learn & Grow and Innovation his team exemplifies! And to top it off, Aruna was also a Powerhouse Performer Winner this past year in the Stop, Drop and Roll category honoring Katrina Walker.”

Stop, Drop & Roll
Drew Norris: Senior Partnerships Manager
“Drew has always been the type of person to jump in to help whenever he can. This past month, I had three RFPs that were submitted and required a quick turnaround. I looked at Drew's queue, and he had 8-10 others that were due around the same time - not easy having to work around the holidays to get everything in and answered on time. These RFPs can have hundreds of questions about the company, technical specifications, roadmap, etc. While some may have similar questions, it will usually require some additional research and leveraging different people in the company to help with various questions. It's so nice to have a dedicated person to help with them, but I know it's a lot of work. Drew is super organized, and he always goes above and beyond for each one. I've gotten compliments from prospects on how nicely organized our RFP packages are, and I just wanted to let Drew know how much his attention to detail is appreciated.”
