Sageworks hosts Private Company Outlook event in NYC
Due to the limited data available about their performance, private companies are rarely the focus of national news. But, private companies will have their time in the spotlight at an upcoming, New York City event.
On April 30th, members of the media, business executives and other financial professionals will gather at the Harvard Club in NYC for the Private Company Outlook event to hear the latest information on the health of U.S. privately held companies. Private companies, which create over 65% of new jobs and more than 50% of GDP, are the driving force of the U.S. economy.
At the upcoming event, Brian Hamilton, chairman of Sageworks and the foremost expert on privately held companies, will discuss the newest data in the monthly Private Company Report by Sageworks, outlining the health and performance of America’s 27 million private companies. Event attendees will get an advance look at this month’s Private Company Report. The Report, which is usually released on the last Monday of each month, will be released at the event and distributed to all not in attendance later that day.
Anish Rajparia, president of ADP Small Business Services, will also speak about the current small business environment and trends, sharing insights from the ADP National Employment Report and perspectives about key challenges that small businesses are facing.
The Private Company Outlook event represents an extension of Sageworks’ mission to help people understand financial information. Brian Hamilton noted, “From the very first day we started, our goal was to help people understand complex financial information and use it to make better decisions. As such, we wanted to guide and help people to become more successful.”
The Private Company Outlook event is the second in the event series, the first of which took place last fall. Read about the fall event in articles by Inc., Entrepreneur and Bloomberg.
