Donald Goin
Managing Director, Chief Information Director
Donald (Don) Goin is Managing Director, Chief Information Officer at Texas Capital. He is responsible for all technology functions, including project and program management, application development, data analytics and reporting, data governance, infrastructure and operations, information security and enterprise architecture.
Don joined Texas Capital in May 2021. He brings to his role two decades of experience successfully leading large-scale technology organizations and digital transformations in banking. Previously, Don served as a senior vice president of engineering at RealPage, Inc. Prior to that, he worked as a consulting chief information officer and advisor for his namesake company, focused on technology consulting, staffing, offshore development and managed services. Don has also served as chief information officer and director of T&O at Santander Consumer, as digital operations officer at Capital One Financial Services and as chief information officer at Capital One Auto Financing. He has held additional positions at Southwest Airlines, IONA Technologies and Raytheon E-Systems.
Don earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science at the University of Texas, Dallas, and pursued graduate studies at Duke University. He has been a member of the Technology Advisory Committee of St. Jude Charities for more than 10 years. Don also served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.
