Ivan specializes in serving depository and lending institutions, consumer finance, investment companies, specialty finance and private equity companies, including publicly traded companies. He serves as Baker Tilly’s CECL subject matter expert and community banking practice leader.

His specific experience includes:

  • Plans and leads audit engagements, model validation and risk advisory engagements including evaluations of financial institutions contingency funding plans and review of credit models
  • Provides advisory assistance to financial institutions related to implementation of accounting standards, financial reporting, and complex model risk management
  • Led financial statement and internal audit engagements for a wide range of financial services companies, including consumer finance and SEC registrants
  • Provided audit, accounting, and other professional services in connection with numerous mergers and acquisitions and capital transactions
  • Provides guidance on accounting policies under US GAAP and procedures to improve the operation of the accounting function and strengthen internal controls under COSO and SOX standards
  • Oversees coordination of firmwide financial institutions training
  • Licensed CPA in Pennsylvania
