Senior Examination Specialist
Pete Martino is a Senior Examination Specialist in the FDIC Policy and Program Development section. He also has over 33 years of regulatory experience, including 27 years in field examination, as both an examiner in the Columbia, Missouri office, and then later as a supervisor in Tampa, Florida. He is a Certified Fraud Examiner, and also has been a subject matter expert in Information Technology.
Mr. Martino has had lead roles in several national regulatory projects, including the joint agency Information Technology Risk Examination (InTREx) work program and the FFIEC Examination Modernization initiative. He recently led an interagency project for the Policy Statement on Prudent Commercial Real Estate Loan Accommodations and Workouts.
Mr. Martino holds degrees in Business Administration and Economics from Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, and also graduated with Special Honors from the Graduate School of Banking in Boulder, Colorado.
